My career is dedicated to defending people accused of crimes.
I have been in private practice since 1995. I began my career as a criminal lawyer in New york in 1992, as a staff attorney with the Nassau County Legal Aid Society. Throughout my career I have proudly defended over a thousand clients accused of felonies and misdemeanors in New York State courts.
I graduated cum laude from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1992. While there, I served as a supervising editor of the Cardozo Law Review. I also attended the Cardozo Criminal Law Clinic.
I graduated from Vassar College in 1985, where I received a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in English.
I have been admitted to the New York State Bar since 1993. I have been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York since 1996.
I am a member of the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the New York State Defenders Association, and the New York State Bar Association.
